National Barricade Company, LLC began serving the Pacific Northwest's traffic control needs in 1951. At that time, the standard devices for traffic control consisted of wooden sawhorses painted yellow, kerosene lanterns with red glass lenses, and oil pots with wicks that would be ignited for nightime visibility. Our founders saw the need to update these standard devices, and began marketing and distributing an innovative battery powered flashing light. We followed that innovation up by replacing the yellow painted sawhorses with the latest in reflective sheeting applied to our signs and barricades. We are true pioneers in the industry, joining the AGC in 1953, and constantly updating our products and services ever since.

Currently, our highly trained staff handles everything from basic lane closures to highly complicated freeway closures and detours. We create traffic control plans, deliver and place equipment, manufacture state spec and custom signs, and repair and service trailer and truck mounted message boards and arrow boards. We serve everyone from general contractors, cities, states, police, fire departments, as well as the general public. We've provided traffic control for such major events as the Seattle Marathon, Seafair, the Kingdome implosion, and a multitude of other high profile events. Our family owned and operated business is in its third generation, and we are striving to continue to provide excellence in service and products thoughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
